Upon application by a contractor who enters into a job order contract with a public body, the public body may waive the requirement set forth in paragraph (c) of subsection 1 of NRS 338.1568 if the contractor demonstrates to the satisfaction of the public body that the contractor has made efforts to satisfy the requirement but is unable to obtain the workers necessary to satisfy that requirement.
