Nevada Courts by County

Nevada has 16 counties plus Carson City, a consolidated municipality that functions as its own county-equivalent. Under NRS 3.010, they are organized into 11 judicial districts, each served by a district court; every county also has one or more township justice courts. Each page below is a directory of where the courts and official self-help resources are for that county — educational information about the court system, not advice about any particular matter. Not sure which county's court handles a particular kind of case? The State of Nevada Self-Help Center (selfhelp.nvcourts.gov) covers court procedure statewide regardless of county, and the Law libraries around Nevada (statewide list) points to a physical law library near most district courthouses for anyone doing their own legal research.
